Privacy policy

How linkivo processes personal data, both that of account holders and that of visitors to published pages.

Last updated : 25 juillet 2026

This English version is provided for convenience; the French version prevails.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The linkivo service, available at linkivo.fr, is published by Joris Hillion, entrepreneur individuel exerçant sous le nom commercial LEZARD, registered under number SIRET 947 949 368 00015, whose address is 6 rue Alexandre Bontemps, 78000 Versailles. Publication director: Joris Hillion.

The publisher is the data controller for the processing described below. For any question or to exercise your rights, write to contact@linkivo.fr.

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, États-Unis.

Two roles must be distinguished. For your account and your page, the publisher is the controller. For your own page's analytics, it is you: linkivo then acts as a processor and does not use your audiences for other purposes.

2. The data we process

Account data. Email address, username, display name, optional profile picture, password (never kept in clear text, only as a cryptographic hash), subscription plan, creation date, last activity date and email verification status.

Content you publish. Titles, texts, links, images, audio recordings, addresses shown on a map, short links, QR codes and their settings. This content is public as soon as your page is.

Analytics for published pages. When a linkivo.fr page, a short link or a QR code is viewed, we record: the date and time, the page or link concerned, the device type, the browser, the operating system, the browser language, the screen size, the referring site, the campaign parameters (UTM), the country and an approximate city-level location, as well as an indicator specifying whether it is a QR code scan.

We do not keep your IP address. It is transformed on the fly, with the browser name and a secret key, into an irreversible fingerprint used only to distinguish two visitors over a single day. This fingerprint does not allow you to be re-identified or tracked from one site to another.

Billing. If you take out a paid subscription, order information is processed by our payment provider. We neither see nor store your bank details.

Support. When you report a bug or contact support from the studio, we keep your message and the associated technical context (page concerned, browser, screen size) for the time needed to handle the request.

3. Why we process them

  • Provide the service : create and secure your account, display your page, redirect your short links, generate your QR codes. Legal basis: performance of the contract between us.
  • Send you the necessary emails : address verification, password reset, support replies. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
  • Measure the audience of published pages : provide you with your analytics. Legal basis: legitimate interest in offering analytics without cookies or profiling, limited to aggregated data.
  • Manage subscriptions : billing, application of plan limits, accounting obligations. Legal bases: performance of the contract and legal obligation.
  • Ensure security : detect abuse, rate-limit automated requests, prevent fraud. Legal basis: legitimate interest in protecting the service and its users.

4. Cookies and storage on your device

linkivo uses no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics trackers and tracks no one from one site to another. The service does, however, write some information in your browser. As the regulations treat cookies and other forms of local storage in the same way, they are all detailed below.

Cookies, only for account holders. No cookie is placed on the device of visitors to a published page.

  • Session cookie : keeps you logged in to your studio. It is deleted on logout.
  • Temporary state cookies : set for a few minutes when you sign in via a third-party service or link a social network account, to prevent hijacking of the authorisation flow.

Local storage, on published pages. This information stays in your browser and is never transmitted to third parties.

  • Visit identifier : a random number specific to the tab, which groups several page views into a single visit. It is erased as soon as the tab is closed and contains no information about you.
  • Poll response : if you vote in a poll published on a page, your choice is stored to prevent a double vote and to show you your answer again.
  • In-app browser exit : a temporary indicator prevents an endless loop when a link opens from the Instagram or TikTok app.
  • Display preferences : accent colour and font, saved only if you change them yourself.

None of these items allows you to be identified, profiled or tracked from one site to another. They are either strictly necessary for the requested operation, or limited to anonymous analytics: that is why the service does not impose a consent banner on you.

Account holders can also exclude their own visits from their analytics from the Analytics page of the studio.

If you add a retargeting pixel (Meta, TikTok, Google Tag Manager) yourself to one of your links, you become the controller for that processing: it is then up to you to obtain visitors' consent and to inform them.

5. Who accesses the data

Your data is neither sold, rented nor transferred for advertising purposes. It is accessible to the publisher and to the technical providers strictly necessary for the operation of the service:

  • Vercel Inc. : hosting of the site and storage of content and analytics.
  • Resend : sending transactional emails (address verification, password reset).
  • Creem : collecting subscriptions and issuing invoices.
  • Mapbox : address search and map display, only when you add a map block.
  • Google : sign-in with a Google account if you choose that authentication method, and provision of the fonts used by the pages.
  • Social networks : if you connect a TikTok, Instagram, X or YouTube account to show your follower count, the data exchanged is limited to what you authorise at connection.

We may also disclose data if the law requires us to, at the request of a competent authority.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

Some of the providers above are established in the United States. Transfers are governed by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR, in particular the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, certification under the EU - US Data Privacy Framework.

7. How long we keep them

  • Account data and content : for as long as the account is active. They are erased when the account is deleted.
  • Visit analytics : kept in detailed form for the time needed to display your dashboards, then aggregated. They disappear with the account.
  • Support messages : up to three years after the request is closed.
  • Invoices : ten years, in accordance with French accounting obligations.

Deleting your account from the studio erases your page, your short links, your QR codes and your analytics. The short links then stop working and QR codes already printed that pointed to them become inoperative.

8. Your rights

You have a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over your data, as well as the right to set directives regarding its fate after your death.

Most of these rights can be exercised directly from your studio: you can change your information, export or delete your content and erase your account. For any other request, write to contact@linkivo.fr. We respond within one month.

If you consider that your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, cnil.fr.

9. Security

Exchanges with linkivo.fr are encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored as a hash and cannot be read back, including by the publisher. Access to production data is restricted to the people who need it to operate the service.

As no system is infallible, if a security incident were to affect your data and present a high risk to your rights, you would be informed in accordance with the GDPR.

10. Minors

The service is not intended for people under 15. If you notice that an account has been created by a minor under 15 without the authorisation of their legal representatives, report it to contact@linkivo.fr : the account will be deleted.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may evolve with the service. In the event of a significant change, account holders are notified by email or by a visible notice in the studio. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page.

The rules for using the service are detailed in the terms of use.
